24 plates (8 quadrants and 16 right-angled triangular plates) each connected along two sides with hinges, with an internal blunt ended metal pin within. In order to open out construction, there are 2"centres", each with 12 plates (there a 4 quadrants sandwiched between 4 triangles on either side to each half) which are rotated out in an anti-clocwise direction from these centres and lifted in order for the object to take on an infinite variety of shapes. Plates have sides 30cms long, with hinges of 5cms and 2.5cms. The hinges at the corners are 2.5cm, and the others in between are are 5cm long.
